Ceramic Fibre

Ceramic Fibre is a light weight, resilient, high-temperature material with low thermal conductivity. It is non-combustible, resistant to thermal shock, has excellent thermal stability and corrosion resistance; and low heat storage. Additionally, it resists attack from most corrosive agents, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid & concentrated alkalies. Dependent on application, the material is suitable for use at temperatures up to 1260°C

Typical Applications include:

• Bulb Material for Tadpole Seals.
• Boiler and Coke Oven Door Seals.
• Expansion Joint packing in boilers, furnaces, kilns, etc.
