Felt

Felt is universally recognised as a superbly versatile engineering material.


In it's many forms, felt is capable of dependable, long-life performance in
a huge variety of applications, such as:

• For drying - or wetting.
• Surface protection, cleaning or decoration.
• Polishing.
• Filtration - wet or dry.
• Anti-static protection.
• Vibration damping.
• Shock absorption and sound attenuation.
• For 'Cushioning' protection in packaging, transport and handling.

Felt can be as soft as new wool or as hard as stone. It can be cut, stamped
milled and ground, wholly dependant on the nature of the part required.
