Ian graduated with a degree from Sheffield Polytechnic in 1991 and subsequently went on to achieve an MBA from Sheffield Hallam University. Ian started at Whitby and Chandler from University. His initial role was that of Quality Manager with a brief to obtain BS 5750.

Ian has had a lot of exposure to the company in terms of the products they offer and the industries they operate in. This experience and knowledge base resulted in his promotion to Commercial Manager which five years ago developed to Commercial Director.

Ian's product knowledge stems from his experience with the company and his exposure to customers and suppliers.
