Paul finished school at 18 and went straight into a sales office environment at Stanley Tools Ltd, joining Whitby and Chandler at the age of 22. Since then he has been involved in almost all aspects of company operations.

Paul started work in the company’s sales office, progressing into external sales and then through the ranks to his current position of Sales and Marketing Director.

Dealing with all aspects of Whitby and Chandler activities - the Rubber Moulding and Seals Division and the Gasket Division from a sales angle, linked to the purchasing of raw materials such as cork, rubber, graphite and non-asbestos sheets and products – has enabled Paul to gain extensive knowledge of these areas of business during his 35 years in the industry.
