Roland initially obtained a National Certificate in Commercial Studies. and began his working life at a TV and Radio Retail Company. Whitby and Chandler's longest serving Staff Member, Roland joined the Company 46 years ago where he started in the commercial office and has progressed through the company to the position of Head of Estimating in the Gasket Division. Through his tim at WCL he has gained a great deal of knowledge with regard to materials, processes and customers.

Roland has worked in all aspects of the company but now focuses on the Gasket Division.
