Rubber Moulding Facility

Having been re-located into an onsite purpose-built factory in 2000, our Compression and Transfer Rubber Moulding facility represents one the cleanest and most efficient facilities within the UK. Production equipment comprises:-

• Single, double and multi-daylight rubber moulding presses
• Rubber Injection moulding presses
• Steam and electric rubber moulding presses.

Ancillary equipment includes

• Extruders,
• Steam tables,
• Drum ice-trimmers
• Milling machines

The rubber moulding production process remains under the control of Whitby and Chandler Ltd at all times and this ensures that quality products are always delivered correctly and on-time - every time!

Management of the rubber moulding division is represented in key personnel with over 35 years individual service. Their vast wealth of accumulated knowledge is readily imparted into new and development projects, often incorporating prototype tool design and specific material formulation and regularly involving customer visits and face-to-face meetings - presenting a level of service that is second to none.
